40 Days For Life: 9/22-10/31

Today, with the unprecedented attacks on the unborn and the family in our culture, it is more important than ever to come together to pray peacefully and witness with love. We hope that you will find it in your hearts to come spend some time at Planned Parenthood where your presence does make a difference.
Our time spent on the sidewalks is powerful in two critical ways:
- We are often the last sign of hope for the mother and baby when they arrive, but also the first sign of mercy, kindness and love to the women as they leave.
- We offer an opportunity for conversion, but also “the opportunity to find the mercy of God at a time when they often feel they’re beyond mercy.”
Forty Days for Life is the largest world wide grassroots movement to end abortion.

The primary mission is to change hearts and minds through prayer & fasting, constant peaceful vigil and community outreach and education, as well as, direct women to the life affirming work of Pro Life pregnancy centers and resources.
Since 2007, 19,198 babies have been saved from abortion,112 abortion facilities closed and 221 abortion workers have quit. There have been 8,028 local campaigns with over 1,000,000,000 volunteers. YOU CAN BE ONE OF THEM!
YOUR PRESENCE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
When there is a peaceful, prayerful presence, a documented up to 75% “no show rate” is proof of the effectiveness of advocating with love and compassion. Once directed to one of the numerous FREE ProLife pregnancy centers and amazing 95% to 99% of women decide to keep their baby after seeing their ultrasound!
This past summer, Dave and Maureen Nash had the privilege of attending the 40 Days for Life Symposium in Houston. They were able to go up to the headquarters of 40 Days For Life in Bryan/College Station where the building that once was a Planned Parenthood is now the Headquarters of 40 DAYS FOR LIFE. In 2007, the first 40 Days for Life prayer Vigil took place and after 8 years, the facility closed its doors permanently.
There is still much work to be done. Abortion is still the leading cause of death in the world ending an estimated 40 million lives a year and leaving behind the broken lives of mothers, fathers, family and friends all impacted by abortion.
